School Canteen Advertisement

a.

Applicant must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.

b.

Stall Assistant(s) may be a SC, SPR or a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) or LTVP-Plus holder with Letter of Consent to work.

c.

Must provide food that meets the health and nutritional standards set by the Health Promotion Board (HPB) for schools. Refer to: HPB Healthy Meals in Schools Programme

d.

Successful applicant must apply for a Food Stall License with the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) before commencing operations.

e.

Both the stall operator and any assistant(s) must hold a valid Food Safety Course Level 1 conducted by SkillsFuture Singapore approved training providers.

f.

Must provide quality food and service at reasonable prices, in consultation with the school.

g.

Required to maintain a high standard of food and personal hygiene at all times.

h.

Prior catering experience or experience operating within a school environment is preferred.

i.

All operators must adhere to the school’s guidelines for canteen operations and food served within the school compound.
